In this
issue: Having a Tooth Pulled! Breakdown of the Body
Spring Holistic Living Expo in Salado, TX
As
a kid my parents should have gone ahead and pushed the issue of me
getting braces on my teeth, but I didn't want to wear them, so they
didn't push it. More than likely money was tight, so when I said no they probably were relieved.
One
of my lower teeth (#22) was always a non usable tooth that many a
dentist cursed. The two teeth on either side of it actually met behind
it. I always called it a snaggletooth. Two months before going in for
the bone marrow transplant in 1992 my dentist did an unexpected root
canal on the snaggletooth.
Twenty
nine years later that tooth had some decay. To me it didn't make any
sense to keep spending money on a dead tooth besides it wasn't a
functioning tooth, and the meridian point reading indicated that the
tooth was negatively affecting my liver. After speaking with my
biological dentist I opted to have it extracted last week. I'm glad I
did even though I'm still healing.
The
primary thing they wanted for me following the surgery was to rest, so
they had given me a prescription for vicodin to alleviate pain. I don't
take medication. I had to buy aspirin to take with me, but I went ahead
and filled the prescription in case I might need one. A few days before I
had broken the tablets in half so if I did need one, it would be less.
After
leaving my dentist's office, I headed for the hotel. I had plenty of
food on my stomach. I had made some raw lemon coconut pudding and some
organic, dairy-free potato salad. Within a few hours I decided to go
ahead and take 1/2 a vicodin so I could have a restful sleep.
Thirty
minutes after swallowing the pill my auric field begin to fade and
turned a dirty yellow gray and I became nauseated. I was able hold back
from throwing up for an hour or two, but eventually it came up anyhow.
As I was making my way to the bathroom, I asked the angels to make it
gentle since just a few hours before I had had surgery. And as if my
request was heard, my pudding came up gently and easily.
I
became fascinated watching my body taking care of me. A light
perspiration was all over my body with a thicker layer on the sternum.
Of course, I easily made it through the night and over the next week my
only source for pain relief was a total of 7 aspirins mostly at night.
The primary way I handled the discomfort was through using velvet antler
5 times a day along with GXL every 1-3 hours.
Why
am I sharing this story? Because I want you to know how quickly the
light can fade with the use of medication. Yes there are times when it
is necessary, but more often than not, the meds are not needed. Most
people take meds every day and at least 2-3 times a day. Each time we a
medication the light within gets turned down a notch.
Our
body is one of the most beautiful creations because regardless of what
we do to it, it will always do it's very best to take good care of us. I know mine has always got my back! Thank you...
Beautiful Blessings,
Beth
